The Department of Drinking Water
supply is spread in 3 Buildings. The Secretary,
DWS is in Nirman Bhavan. The Mission office is in
Paryavaran Bhavan and all the technical Officers
including MIS section are situated in Block 11 of
CGO complex. Each of the office is having a Separate
LAN effectively working. All the officers and each
of the attached sections of the officers of the
mission are having a computer with a printer and
connected to the LAN and Internet with VC facilities.
Currently all the staff of the
mission are trained to use MS OFFICE including the
officers and dealing hands. All the processes relating
to the communication and project sanctioning are
through the computers.
Mission has launched online web based
applications for the effective monitoring of the Rural
Water Supply & Sanitation Programmes through the
following major applications:-
- Rural
Water Supply
- Swajaldhara
- Total
Sanitation Campaign
